Bit of a project, had sat under a tree for best part of 18 months as her indoors stopped using it.
I had been ill so had been neglected a bit, changed battery, roof wouldn’t work along with central locking, fitted new CCU once i could find one.
Now roof ok again but apparently VAG software needed for central locking?
Doors and alarm work on the key, so does boot.
Only 1 fob, cant find other one
Rip to passenger seat, hard area on the seat base so i suspect some kind of ladies make up liquid was spilt on it. Denied of course.
Drivers seat stopped moving forward/backward but will work up and down which does give quite a bit of adjustment.
Rear window needs re-bonding and I do have the kit so may try it or can leave for next buyer.
Happy to cold start for any viewers.
Still drives really well , engine and gearbox smooth.
Needs 2 rubber boot things, CV joint covers? on MOT repair now and advisories are online to see for yourselves, although not significant.
Most annoying one is small oil leak.
In the mot place we looked underneath, looked like water pump area not enough room to see properly and you cant see form above either.
Its not mint , with a little TLC will be a lovely car again.
Vehicle is listed as CAT D – front end damage – grill and bumper
